What started as a fascination with traditional headwear became a lifelong appreciation for fabric, form, and detail. A belief that the right cap should feel personal, age beautifully, and carry character wherever it goes.

Edward Hale Opens
In 1999, after years devoted to refining his craft, Edward Hale opened his first shop. What began at a single workbench became a home for timeless headwear, carefully selected materials, and an unwavering respect for traditional cap making.

As the workshop expanded, Edward remained at the heart of the craft. New hands joined the workbench, but the same principles endured: thoughtful materials, careful construction, and caps made with character.

After years spent shaping timeless headwear, Edward Hale is preparing to close this chapter. This final sale is his way of thanking everyone who shared the journey. When the remaining collection is gone, the doors will close for the last time.

How can I be sure the cap will fit?
Most Edward Hale caps feature a discreet adjustable band designed to fit head circumferences from approximately 52–62 cm (20.5–24.4 in). Select styles are available in fixed sizes, which will be shown directly on the product page. If the fit isn’t right, you’re also protected by our 100-Day Fit Guarantee.
What materials do you use?
Our collection includes carefully selected wool blends, tweed-inspired fabrics, cotton, denim and leather-look finishes. Each material is chosen for comfort, texture and lasting character.
How long should my cap last?
With proper care, an Edward Hale cap is designed to be worn for years. Many of our materials develop even more character with time and regular wear.
Are your caps made in large production runs?
Our remaining styles are available in limited quantities. As part of our final collection, there will be no restocks and no second release once a style or colour sells out.
Will the cap stay comfortable all day?
Yes. Our caps are designed around a comfortable, balanced fit with soft interiors and carefully selected materials intended for easy everyday wear.
What is the best way to clean my cap?
For everyday care, gently remove dust with a soft brush or clean cloth. Small marks can usually be treated with a lightly damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing, tumble drying and direct heat.
What if the fit is not right?
If your cap doesn’t fit as expected, contact our team and we’ll help. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible unworn items, and our 100-Day Fit Guarantee provides additional peace of mind.
